Let's Talk About Tech, Baby!
Building better habits as a family.
Description
Technology is not bad. Screens are not bad. YOU are not a bad parent because your kids love screen time. But, screen time can stop being a helpful tool when it’s not used in moderation. It’s easy to let screen time spiral out of control, and start feeling like other parts of our lives, like school, relationships, and developing our other interests.
Tech addiction is a real thing. And, it’s pretty common. It’s really an impulse control disorder involving the obsessive use of mobile devices, the Internet, or video games––even if there are no negative consequences!
In this webinar, Bend Health SVP, Programming and clinical therapist Donna McCutchen is joined by Behavioral Coach and Program Specialist, Jessica Sicurezza to help parents and caregivers:
- Understand the impact tech can have on kids and teens
- Establish family values
- Make a plan to change
- Set SMART goals that stick
- Prioritize online activities
